यह टॉपिक राजस्थान की विभिन्न भर्ती परीक्षाओं में आता है, जैसे कि LDC, RAJASTHAN HIGH COURT FOURTH GRADE CET 12, CET GRADUATION, और कई अन्य भर्तियों में भी आता है। Past Indefinite Tense

 

इस Tense में कार्य पूर्ण रूप से समाप्त हो जाता है।

 

 

 

Past Tense के सकारात्मक वाक्य (Affirmative Sentence) में helping verb का उपयोग नहीं किया जाता है। लेकिन Interrogative and Negative Sentence में helping verb के रूप में did का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य जब भी did के साथ शुरू होता है उसके बाद आने वाली verb हमेशा 1st form में रहती है। इस तरह के वाक्यों में हमें जवाब हाँ या ना में देना होता है।

wh word वाले प्रश्नवाचक वाक्यों में did के बाद आने वाली verb 1st form में रहती है। लेकिन इसमें हमें कारण बताना पड़ता है।

Past habit बताने के लिए भी इस Tense का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

इस Tense में सामान्य रूप से last month, last week, last year last week, one day, that day आदि adverb का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

 

Affirmative Sentence सकारात्मक वाक्य

Structure: Subject + Verb 2nd form + Object

• She went there.

• I wrote a letter.

• He came to the office.

• Arun bought a new bike.

Negative Sentence नकारात्मक वाक्य 

Structure: Subject + did + not + verb (1st form) + object

• She did not go there.

• I did not write a letter.

• He did not come to the office.

• He did not eat food last night.

• Arun did not buy a new bike.

Interrogative Sentence प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य

Structure: Did + subject + verb (1st form) + object

• Did you come home?

• Did you play cricket?

• Did you go there?

• Did you want to meet him?

• Did you buy a new bike?

Wh-word Interrogative प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य

Structure: Wh-word + did + subject + verb (1st form) + object

• Why did you scold him?

• Why did you do this work?

• Why did you come here?

• Why did you come home?

• Why did you want to meet him?

• Why did you buy a new bike?

Wh- Interrogative Negative नकारात्मक वाक्य 

Structure: Wh-word + did + not + subject + verb (1st form) + object

• Why didn’t you scold him?

• Why didn’t you come here?

• Why didn’t you come home?
